Hey. I am technically from a neighbouring country. I never looked into this option seriously, but I might be able to travel to Russia if that would help in some way. Soon I will have a lot of SN on my hands, enough to throw a CTB party, but I'm not sure I would be able to transport it to Russia.
I never thought about getting a partner though. I always thought it only makes an already complicated process even more complex. Would you mind sharing why you want a partner?

I never believed they did. It sounds like a pretty dreadful place to exist right now and the Russian people have every scrap of empathy I can offer. I hope it isn't Putin's warmongering and resulting increase of foreign prejudice against Russians that has pushed you to this point?

To be honest, it also affects. Now we have a military mobilization. Many men received subpoenas from the military registration and enlistment office. Their children and wives cry when they are escorted to military training. There are many videos about this. Men are fleeing en masse to other countries. So if one partner succeds and the other doesn't, the surviving partner has a significant risk of ending up in prison. I'm looking at the end of November-start of December. If travel would be involved, start of December sounds more like it, but I definitely want to do it before the winter holidays. Not too early for you?

i'm sorry for this. it seems a good portion of the world is coming to realise that not all russian people want this war. leaders rarely reflect the honest views of the people they rule over. with time this should end, we just don't know how much time exactly. but hopefully, the world won't be against you for long. i hope this gives you some peace of mind.
