Has anyone considered having a partner to go with or is going solo your ultimate decision?

Oops i forgot to add that i will be going solo. I meant i'd prefer a chat partner when i finally decide to go.

Yup, me too. Solo. My road with depression is a lonely one and suicide even more so.

I used to not really relate much to the desire to have a partner for it. But I don't know anymore. Since the end has been getting closer it has been feeling more and more lonely, like I'm the last man standing, last survivor of the apocalypse. And it makes everything harder.

I don't think I'll have someone to talk to in the final hours even. But I suck at talking anyway.

Sometimes I wish I had someone who could just shoot me.

Ideally I'd want to die peacefully in someone's arms.

Maybe there's something in between. But I don't think it's going to happen.

Well for me it depends. If I will decide to die by jumping from a cliff or bridge than I don't mind having a partner to do that with. But if it's N then nah I don't trust no bishes with that one NOPE

I plan on doing a voice chat or write among a created thread when it's my time to go by carbon monoxide using charcoal. I want to report on the feeling during, what runs through my mind, any side effects, amount used. Not to encourage anyone, but to give insight as if to say "it's okay fam, my pain is receding and if you choose to do it as well, you know what it's like because I reported it timeframe by timeframe and to not be worried, but confident in your decision whichever that may be"

I prefer to go alone and won't be chatting with anyone when I'm about to leave. It may be the opposite for some people but I know I will be able to remain far more calm like this.

I wouldn't mind a chat / PM friend at all. Assuming he/she doesn't care that I can only be on once or twice a day for a few messages.. Assuming that person has a relatable background to mine. Not interested in a CTB buddy.

I'm just a 40+ guy in the US whose 'in the suicide closet' so to speak from my family. Which includes young children and my wife. Saddened by the poor choices I've made in life, but if you were to look at me from the outside, you'd likely never know that I'm just an incident away from CTB.

I see. I'm suicidal bc of something physical, but maybe you can turn it around still? Idk
