Help Partial.

Hey everyone.
I plan to ctb tonight, and I'm going with partial hanging.
I just have a few questions, I'll do it either way but I'd like to know what you'd do.

First off, I know you need to compress the carotid, and that's how you pass out quickly. But how in the fuck do you actually make sure to do that? I wasn't able to fins anything regarding that and partial.

Secondly. I am going to do it during the night, in a forest. However, I realise it isn't optimal that any random person find me, and I was considering calling 911 immediately before and giving them vague whereabouts? According to google emergency services in my country can't properly track calls, but I do still worry that they'll find me quickly, even though I plan to not be too close to any paths. Would you call or would you just do it?

I wouldn't call anyone bc if they find you too early and interfere you might risk brain damage. What if you back out and you already alerted police or emergency? You could end up in a psych ward. Just my personal thoughts about that. Whatever you decide is up 2 u.

yep, 911 dispatchers ended up stopping me (hugely regret that. fuck me.) and taking my rope. fortunately for me the psych ward here sucks and me having a rope around my neck when an ambulance arrived was not cause for concern, just gotta buy new rope.

I would recommend going for Full Suspension if possible. It's the same exact result as partial, with a much larger guarantee you'll get that result (blood choke resulting in death). Partial Hanging comes with the same possible brain damage risk as Full Suspension - moreso because you have the added risk of SI taking over causing you to stand up.

Ever read the Japanese Suicide Handbook? (It's on Archive dot org for free). It reassured me a lot about Full Suspension. Hanging is a solid method - so solid people have done it by accident, and even children have successfully pulled it off. Which is a f*cked up thing to think about but it's true. It's one of the oldest CTB methods that exist and if I can't get my hands on a firearm, it'll be my method.

Even better if you go full-drop, but agreed there are better options than partial. There are lots of people here who have survived partial due to SI or other issues. Hanging has good success rates, but partial is the least reliable within that method.

I'll say this, plenty of people use partial successfully. So I guess it comes down to weighing the pros and cons of using a method that has very high success rates but may require more planning vs an easier but less guaranteed method. That isn't including exceptional cases like prisoners or patients that are secluded to a particular area or resources.

Im neither. I live in Germany where we don't have tall walls and the lights are not strong enough to hold my weight. The only option would be outside, but it's too risky to be "saved"

If I was using that method I would look for abandoned buildings, preferably industrial; just somewhere where there is a high, strong anchor point. It doesn't need to be a huge wall, can be a beam or anything that is high and will hold the weight.

hiii!!! i'd 100% use socks, roll them up and stuff one next to each artery! you'll find them if you use your fingers and feel when you feel faint. balance the socks inbetween the arteries and tje rope and you're good to go!! be safe while doing it!
