I tried to ctb on multiple occasions by partial hanging and i keep failing every single time.
So, first thing is my rope will not stay in it's place, i can't keep it right under my chin and it keep falling down in the middle of my neck. How can i keep it still under my chin?
Second thing: i used the arbor knot or the slip knot, i don't know if i tied wrong but nothing of this two knots works for me
Third thing: it seems i can't pass out, last night i stayed with the rope around my neck for about 3-4 mins, maybe even 5 and i didnt fade, not even close to fade. I just made noises because i couldnt and at the same time could breathe, so from my mouth strange noises came out. ( I don't know how to explained better now, let me know if something isn't clear, i will try to explain better)
Fourth thing: my rope is very long, so i don't know if i should cut it or not.
Please tell me everything you know based on your experience or someone else's, i need to ctb, i can't go on with my life. Thanks

12mm rope . Used t-shirt as padding . Dont know theg position you wanna do it feom but if your upright thr gravity will move the nose all the way up. Lost of pressure is neede. Not able to breath. Hyperventilating before tou start till your nice dizzy tricks the brwin into thinking it has more then enough oxygen. Lean in hard drop your whole weight in to it. Ans bye bye it will be

Whats the T-shirt for if you dont mind me asking. And where do you put it? Just under your face?
I just wrap it around where my neck will be few layers. Like a thick ish layer. Tower wise it just hurts my throat way too much

I have an advice : learn it to get nearly unconscious that's easy to learn.
Place the noose on your neck then tighten it and of course place it above Adam's apple and the knot on the backside of your neck in the middle now take your rope and pull it up.
The trick is that you don't need much pressure just little bit of pressure but you must keep the pressure constant for 15 seconds and also drop your head while doing this. You will get unconscious with this so stop it before that happens
