I tried partial hanging today. Wow it was painful and scary. I used a 12mm rope and threw it over a door and then tried hanging myself but the feeling of choking was too much to take. I used the sitting position; I tried first kneeling but that didn't do anything, just felt like my head would explode. What should I do to pass out fast? I don't wanna be choking for a long time in pain.

You were doing it wrong. To make hanging painless you're supposed to press the carotid arteries, not the jugular veins. The noticeable veins on the sides of your neck are the jugular veins, carotid arteries are placed around your adam's apple (even if you're a woman), but not at the sides of your neck.

If you put the ligature around your neck and immediately tried to weigh yourself down - that's the first problem if you want a choke free partial. You'll have a build up of pressure in your head and be gasping for air. I think the reason why a lot of people choose partial over full suspension is being they don't want that experience of choking or struggle. Leaning forward to compress the carotid to induce unconsciousness without crushing the airway is much more effective. I don't want to give how-to's but I found the information easily on Google, tried it a few times myself and got the method to work. I'm just buying time until I get the courage to finally complete it. I think it's meant to be somewhat relative to the 'choking game' but with a ligature, I can't remember exactly as I did all my research back in Summer

Not sure what you mean because in every medical diagram they are shown to be right next to each other.

Yeah they are? The carotid arteries are located around your adam's apple, next to them are the jugular veins.

Sorry 😅 when I read your post it made me imagine them being several centimeters apart.
