Help Partial hanging seizures?

I read somewhere that during partial hanging, there are seizure-like convulsions that follow. Dumb question (apologies), but do these convulsions include vocal sounds? I lived with a girl last year who has epilepsy, and whenever she had an episode, there was often a loud cry/moan to alert me it was happening (I'm guessing from air moving past her vocal cords). I'm just worried now that I'll end up making noises from my room that would make my suitemates or RA check up on me.

I have no medical background, but I beleive that it's either differet from having seizures and/or depends on the person whether they make a sound or not
