Help Partial hanging? Help?

So I understand the gist of it but i see ppl using things that are not ropes would something like this in all honesty rlly work? This is a hypothetical question ofc asking Bc I have seen pics of ppl using what looks to b this kind of stuff srry if this violated anything just looking for more info
Don't get mad at me I'm not smart like I don't understand a lot of things I just rlly am curious on how this works more and so srry if I violate anything or this thing looks dumb I tryna learn - yes reason why commenting this is Bc of anxiety etc

I tried to hang myself (partial) with some neckties and it seemed it was gonna work but I wasn't able to find my sweet spot and go unconscious. I can't believe how much I suck at that method lol.
