The first time, I went unconscious really quickly and was found by my family. Spent days in the psych ward.

The second time, I was at a hotel (used a thicker waist belt). I also fell unconscious but woke up in a panic by my own convulsions.

Next time, I'm going to try and get the same type of belt that I used the first time as it was very effective. I actually peed myself the first time so I know my body was already giving out. I also lost my feelings in my tongue.

What are the odds I'll succeed next time? SI and external factors will always be a concern but I'm hoping there won't be too many tries.

partial is not reliable, the instinct and/or movement can ease the pressure and make you come back, hence your second try. If you want to be successful, full suspension is quick and a no way back ticket.

Simply not true. Many on here have tried full suspension and failed. Partial is reliable, many die this way. Google it and you'll see plenty of images of dead people from partial hanging

there are much more report here from people trying partial and not dying than people surviving from full suspension.
I'm not saying you can't die by partial but it's less reliable. So much of us did it, several times and are here to talk about. I read lots of threads and didn't see much survivors of full suspension.

I'm not a doctor so I couldn't say, but perhaps the belt isn't tight enough, because you shouldn't be waking up.

From what I've read, pressure on the neck causes one to piss/shit themselves, not the body giving out, because surely you would at the very least have brain damage if your body was giving out? Again, I'm not a doctor

There are no guaranteed odds unfortunately. You may be found again, you may jostle yourself out of position again, you may simply just not succeed for varying reasons. It's a tricky method but I know if done properly can be very peaceful. Be careful doing it in a hotel as if you make too much noise other guests may alert your room to the staff who may then call the police. Be wary of attempting this too often that you do not cause any lasting damaging effects. I hope that you find your peace

True but that doesn't mean it's an unreliable method, it is very commonly used in successful suicides. Some are attempting wrong, that's all.

realiable from a satistic point of view. The ratio of people trying it on the forum and survive is very high. That's what i mean by unreliable.

It's not about doing it wrong or right, a reliable method is very lethal. When you jump from 100m/300ft no matter how you jump you will die instantly for sure with 99,99% rate. This is reliable. Jumping from 15m/45ft give some 50% chance of survival depends on how you fall and if the head hit first or not, so this isnt as reliable.

It is just a statistic point of view. I wouldnt say right or wrong done, i would say it's more complicated to be successful with partial, because even if you do it well, some other factors count and your instincts and/or movements can stop the process... so much of us experienced it.

So even from your point of view it means partial is complicated to achieve correctly. Ok why not, but that's in total contradiction with the reputation of easyness and peacefulness we always read here...

We don't have access to proper statistics to end this debate. I just evaluate it by the number of attempts and reports seen here, when actual reports of surviving full suspension are much more rare. So maye i'm wrong but this is what appears very clearly when digging on Sasu.

Hello, firstly I wanted to say how sorry I am that you have to go through this pain and hurt. I 100% do not wish people to experience suicidal thoughts (even on my worst enemies).

Secondly, I was wondering how long you had to wait for you to pass out and how thick was your ligature. I practice heaps but can't seem to pass out and when I do get to the numbness/tingles stage I reflexively stand up for breath.
