Hey everyone, i had some questions about the method i chose and i thought maybe some people here have real experiences or good sources on some real numbers. Not so long ago i wondered what the mortality rate is if you take like 100 paracetamol tablets.
I read a lot about that this way is not safe because a lot of people survive, but i am not convinced, because like 90 or 95% of those people who try OD'ing on paracetamol go into hospital after the ingestion. So of course you will survive. My question is what is the mortality rate if you don't go into hospital? Is it safe to assume you will die if you don't get any help or is there a big chance you will even survive with 100 tablets eaten?
(Please don't tell me that taking paracetamol is a stupid and painful way to go, i now the pain will be agonising and that it will take a few days until you die from it. I just want to know how the mortality rate is and maaaaybe how bad the pain will be)

I'm afraid I agree with @Johnnythefox above.

As for what happens. Well the most likely thing is you will vomit copiously for 24-48 hours until every muscle in your body aches and you wished you had never thought of taking paracetamol - I'm sure you are aware they taste revolting, so imagine that taste coming back up over and over again.

Then the pain you will experience is indescribable. Take the worse pain you can ever imagine and multiply by a thousand as you are doubled over screaming, sweating, still vomiting on yourself and wishing you'd never thought of it.

If you wish to ctb there are far more effective methods available! Xx

Edit - am not trying to be unkind, I've watched it happen to someone and it's horrible and they didn't die xx

I think that OD'ing on any OTC stuff is probably a bad idea. Excruciating pain and not guaranteed to work. There's a reason why the effective stuff is hard to get.

Very bad idea. If for no other reason than it doesn't take effect in time for it to be practical. It is a slow-acting toxin, if I remember correctly, and you'll almost certainly be found, saved, and live for the next long while under close supervision and with painful residual damage.

OTC ODs are a bad idea.

ALOT seek help because of the pain caused by the damage to their organs which can start in as few as 2-3 days, during that time vommiting, abdominal pain etc prior to that. Its so so toxic. If you dont die and some dont you risk kidney, liver failure which could go on for weeks/months/years may kill you but then again may not you could even potentially require a transplant and whilst waiting for that ongoing dyalysis. Personally i dont think its worth the risk and by what you said i think you kind of know that too.

Its a good method if you dont mind risking making your life so much worse, not so good if you want to have a better chance of dying quicker.

One thing I have learned, OTC drugs and household chemicals. Bad, bad idea. Every site that openly talks about says the same. Researching the individual chemicals actually is even more frightening.

Sometimes when we feel very desperate, we'd do things impulsively. But as everyone says, don't OD with OTC drugs. I've never mentioned this before here, I think, but almost 10 yrs ago I drank a 'cocktail' of shit that I hoped would kill me. But I was saved. I remember that thing in a sort of a flash... I don't know if I really wanted to die or not. I just remember the despair I was going through. I spent many days at the ICU with the most excruciating pain in the world. The doctor was just about to remove my bowels. I'm OK now (physically), but I definitely don't recommend you try to ctb with OTC drugs and the like.

If you really want to do it, take your time, reflect on your decision, and do some research.

Good luck.

Before you guys reply any further, i already changed my mind! I opened another thread with my new method, which will be decapitation with car and rope. Paracetamol won't be my way to go :)

Glad you've changed your mind re; paracetamol OD. People here know what they're talking about, I'm pleased you've taken it on board.

That's why we all here right? To get some experiences and wisdom and other opinions in. It wasn't all too clear how much pain there would be and how unrealiant it is bc you can only get so much information. So i thought about it again and come to a new and better conclusion

Someone once told me about on of their acquaintances having a phobia of going to the dentists, so she took tens of tablets of paracetamol, I guess to avoid pain and calm her nerves. She was hospitalized for 2 weeks and died a slow painful death as her organs where failing one by one. Sad.

That's really sad. I mean she didn't want to die and just because of her fear of the dentist she had to. R.i.p i hope she's in a better place now.

The pain was the most I had experienced in recent memory, and they did medicate for pain in hospital.
Im sorry I cant help with the majority of your question, I failed several times with this.
