ODs almost never work. Yes, even on oxycodone. If you read the thread "Why ODs fail miserably", you'll know that the LD50 for oxycodone - the dose that is theoretically deadly for half the population - is over 300mg/kg, meaning that a frail 50kg person would need over 1500 10mg pills to have 50% of chances to OD on oxycodone with success. It's basically almost impossible to down so much pills without vomiting and filling your entire stomach.
There's still a lot of questions and inquiries about ODs, and people asking about what things may facilitate a successful attempt. Let's be clear, ODs are rarely fatal. Why? For a couple of reasons: (1) modern medications are designed to be very safe, as manufacturers aim to avoid deaths that...

Preamble I wanted to write something similar to Stan's guide to SN but I hesitate to call this a guide because I can't in good conscience make a guide for something so unreliable in terms of access, lethality, and risk of permanent injury. I.e., traumatic brain injury from hypoxia. SN is a far...

what side affects to expect (vomiting etc)?
Vomiting, for sure.
There's no way to possibly know in advance. ODs on opioids rely on a variety of factors which change from an individual to another, such as age, weight, innate and acquired tolerance to opioids… Some people will die with as little as 300mg of oxycodone, some wouldn't even die by shooting 30 grams (if such a thing was possible). That's a shot in the dark.
Fentanyl is all over the world
Huh, no. Fentanyl is mainly manufactured in China and sold to the Mexican cartels in order to flood the American market with cheap and extremely strong synthetic opioids, taking advantage in the opioids crisis following the massive prescription of oxycodone in the US. It's part of the Cold War between China and the States. Fentanyl - and maybe nitazenes, the new RC synthetic opioids - are not a thing in Europe yet. It may be one day if the Talibans keep destroying the poppy fields in Afghanistan, making the production of heroin impossible. But there are not as much opioid addicts in Europe as in the States, because oxycodone has always been a very controlled substance and there is no such thing as intense lobbying of the pharmaceutical companies for synthetic opioids in Europe.
