Help overdosed on random meds. regret is sinking in

i just snapped i did this even though i know ODs are rarely successful. i just want it to work but it probably won't :(
i'm drinking a lot so if this doesnt makes sense i'm sorry

i barely remembers but it was alot of lexapro prozac temazepam panadol pregablin codeine agomelatine some valium as well.

will this work at all? will it hurt? if it will should i go to the hospital. i ideally would not like to bc the hospital psychiatrist said i'll be sectioned if i come back. i honestly just want to go to sleep and pray it works. thoughts are too loud

It's really going to depend how much you took of each. Most of those meds are pretty much fine until you start taking very large quantities. The Lexapro and Prozac are the only worry that comes to my mind bc of serotonin syndrome. And depending how much you took, the Panadol could damage your liver. The codeine might make you nauseous and the benzos will make you sleepy, even at high doses. The gabapentin is not really a worry. Sorry to hear you're suffering and I hope you can find peace soon

It's okay, don't apologize for your writing. I've tried to overdose on various pills and alcohol 5 times last June and July during moments of desperation and before I knew any better and of this forum. Odds are, you will not die from this. Statistically most pill overdoses fail. It's kind of impossible for us to know, we don't know how much you took in total pill and alcohol wise. But you might get some organ damage from it maybe. It's up to you if you want to go to the hospital. I didn't for any of my attempts, but I let doctors know a month later. If you get a lot of pain and if you can't move, I'd advice you to call an ambulance.

thank you, i'm really scared of the pain. it's sad to know that it probably won't work. i'm not sure how organ damage will be like but i'm okay with it as long as i can stay out of the psych ward. i don't remember the exact amounts i just took all the meds i had left the antidepressants were months worth of doses and others were less

Do you feel any pain right now? The worst thing will be possibly serotonin syndrome like someone mentioned above. Whenever I had it, it was horrible and really scary in the moment. I hope you don't have to go through that.

i hope it doesn't hurt :( my stomach hurts a fair bit and i feel nauseous but it doesn't feel completely awful. my heart feels like it's beating v fast. and i'm very sleepy

I'm sorry that you are experiencing this. How much alcohol did you have?

That can be high in %, but I think you will be okey. It will take a few hours until you sober up and until the effect of the medicines wear off most likely. The pain might last longer than that and vary in intensity, maybe a day or so, I think that part is very individual. I hope you feel better soon and that you don't experience any damage to your liver. If you can, try to sleep.

I am sorry for your pain. I would not risk this. Having physical pain or damage is not what you want. But yes, I understand your anxiety about the psych ward! For me it would be worse having damage or pain or anxiety. But I understand if it is another situation for you. I hope you are without pain, wether in death then in survive! May you sleep in peace and with the feeling of happiness!

At least one good thing came from this, i found that alcohol and benzos completely wipe my SI. So i will be free soon

The only one you've taken that would be any good to ctb would be pregabalin. Modern anti-d's & benzos are very difficult to ctb with.

Panadol could damage your liver depending on how many you took.

I didn't have any bad liver pains but i was very dizzy, nauseous and had a bad headache and stomachache the day after. I ended up throwing up most of the pills, which probably helped. Hopefully no long term damage but im getting a blood test soon so will find out

I read about pregabalin overdose but it seems really uncomfortable :/ Considering how difficult benzos are to get prescribed i really wish it was easier to ctb with them
