Over the counter or KNO²?

I've been actively considering CTB more since before March this year, ruled out Hydroxyzine Hydrochloride completely. Would KNO² be possible, or any over the counter drugs that would go fast and relatively comfortably? Or any chemists know how I could further reduce 30g Nitrate to Nitrite?
Just trying to go through my options for when I need to use them, hopefully in the next couple months. Not excited to see the next hottest year in 2024.

Can we make NaNO2 from NaNO3?

Please help, a local company has sodium nitrate. Can I turn this into nitrite at home?

I would say KNO2 is also possible because it's the NO2- ion that does the work and not K. But afaik that has never been reported someone used it before. I personally would stick with the proven protocols.
