Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

So I've stated before that I plan on CTBing late August, and hopefully at the latest September- all depends on the waiting period once I am able to afford a shotgun. My friends are starting to worry about me. I don't want them to interfere. I'm trying to emotionally distance myself so my death hurts them less but especially if I block them this early there's a decent chance they may call the police or something, since out of the few I have, a decent amount know I'm suicidal. I do still live with my parents and I made the stupid mistake a while back of giving one if my friends my mother's contact so he'd reach out to her. But I can't keep making up excuses about why I'm not answering them for days on end especially friends who I used to talk to every day. Any opinions on when I should start blocking and deleting contacts? Should I do it now or wait until perhaps the day before I CTB?

Blocking them would only raise more suspicions wouldn't you agree?

I absolutely understand the reasoning but please do not do this. I can only speak from my own personal experience, but I tried to do this a few days ago when I attempted to CTB and was declared a missing person. The police literally tracked my phone and confronted me in my hotel room. It will cause a lot more harm and suspicion than intended.

i agree with everything already said here. i don't have much experience, but usually when somebody disappears - people start to ask questions. personally, i would try to continue as if everything were normal. i understand that you're trying to minimise the collateral - but it's safer for you this way :)

thinking of you and wishing you peace <3

Well don't do anything out of the norm as that will raise even more suspicions, as long as you live by yourself you can just complete ctb successfully.
