Forever alone.

This week is a prime opportunity to CTB because I'll be alone for the week. The only problem is that I don't want to CTB right away because I don't want my dog to suffer. Taking it to a neighbor would be suspicious so I'll have to wait later in the week to CTB so I can give my dog the right amount of food and water for a day so my dog isn't in any pain. At least now I don't have to worry about the ratchet making too much noise (this will be my last attempt with the "night-night" method before I go to SN. First time I failed because tape wasn't good, second time ratchet length was too long). I can't let this opportunity slip away.

Is your dog a purebred or a popular mix?? There are rescue organizations that take in dogs like that that do not kill them. I've supported them in the past. Also, no kill shelters are a good option.

It's a family dog, so there is no way in the world that's going to happen (living with my parents by the way).

I can understand. Didn't realize you were with your parents. Can they take care of the dog?

I'm sorry to hear about your dog and your situation. Hoping you find peace soon. I'm also just sticking around to see how things unfold in my life, and my life sucks currently too (personal stuff, working towards financial independence again, and other woes keeping me here). My method is still away, out of access, but hopefully when things quiet down a bit, I would be able to 'secretly' get my method back into my possession.

My dog was my timer. He lived 20 years and he NEEDED me and I know nobody would put in the work and give him meds ect and he would've been put down. (I'm 25) and after my first attempt when I was 12 I promised to somehow stay until he passed. I just recently lost him and now I can go in peace, and in the small hope that some sort of spirituality is real we'll be cuddling soon ♥️

Aw, love... My heart goes out to you. It's hard to leave our loved ones behind, especially our pets. I get teary eyed when I look at my pet and know I'll be leaving him. He's my baby. I got him when he was a few months old... I'm all he knows. He's with me 24/7. He absolutely adores me and I worry about what will losing me do to him. I hope he doesn't deteriorate due to heartbreak. My mother will be taking care of him, so I'm not concerned about that... But I did get a glimpse of how he behaves when I'm not around as I went on a trip a few months ago. He would hide and refused to come near my mother. So she'd simply leave the food there and he'd eat it when she'd leave. When I came home, he was wiggling with excitement and happiness when he heard my voice from his hiding spot. He became so animated and licked my hand when I picked him up. Ugh. Makes me so sad... I know he's going to feel it and sense it. Animals just know.

I'm sorry to hear about your situation. It's wonderful of you to take care of your dog first, thank you. I'm glad that the pupper is going to be taken care of by your parents. I hope you find peace when your time comes to ctb. Sending hugs
