there's sites you can go on where people will make you feel as horrible about yourself as possible until you log off because you can't take it anymore. One man streamed his suicide and people were still berating him and insulting him and encouraging him to kill himself. DISGUSTING that they did this.

People can be truly disgusting and the internet gives people the platform to say things they would never in a million years say to anyone in person. This can be a good or bad thing. I've mostly stopped reading the comment sections on most sites because it depresses the hell out of me.

Yeah I told a story about my life on Reddit...a really painful one about how my career tanked because of an unforeseen illness and now my husband has to take care of me and that I am not grateful for any of that happening and they told me I was a selfish entitled Karen. I'm literally the opposite of that. A Karen is a middle aged married mom from the suburbs. I am not a mom and I don't live in the suburbs. I am also not entitled. I am actually the polar opposite of entitled. Entitled would mean I thought I deserved to be taken care of by my husband. I think the opposite of that. I feel horribly guilty. I have a nice life that I didn't earn and do not deserve. I am not grateful for being in this position. Instead of reading between the lines of my post to see that I am in a huge amount of pain and have massive survivor's guilt, they just called me a selfish piece of shit and piled on me so high that I had to delete my account and cry for like an hour. I'm sure if they knew that I cried because of their comments they'd laugh because Redditors want to see the world burn.

Your description is a little ambiguous, but I interpreted it as meaning there are insult-themed sites or forums that have the stated and forewarned purpose of insulting you until you can't take it. If that interpretation is correct, why would anyone go to one of these sites and volunteer themself for insults if they weren't both willing and prepared to receive them? And even more bizarrely, why would someone who was suicidal stream their suicide there and choose to receive insults during their last moments? Blaming such a site for making people feel horrible or commit suicide is akin to blaming rope manufacturers for hanging suicides.

If my interpretation is in fact incorrect, and you are just talking about regular forums where insults and goading members to commit suicide happen, then obviously that is a different matter entirely and is disgraceful behaviour.

If it was Reddit I can't think that would last very long. The original S.S. forum was shut down on there. One of the replacements (TimeToGo) has so many restrictions you can't even talk about methods there. I was even sensored for using the word Asshole.

So sorry this happened to you. Again … how is it I get sensored for using the word Asshole ??? (I was not calling anyone on the forum an Asshole) When people are saying shit like that.
I'm not really on there much anymore. I used to go to the Anti-Natalist forum and I think there was one for Nihilist. I can't remember anymore.
I don't remember anyone being that awful on those forums or S.S. & TTG.

I've never visited the site so I can't say what the rules are, but I think that some people want others to say nasty to things to them so it gets validated in their head to feel like it's true. I don't know 100% though so I can't be totally sure. I can't say why someone would stream a suicide in their last moments. I'm not that person so I can't give an explanation.

This is a very weird distressing story that sounds like some urban fairytale or out of the dark dark web -- people logging in to be abused till they kill themselves? That is some weird "self-snuff live streaming". I'm not disgusted but asking myself what's the point of that, and does it really exists.
