okay I was travelling on a train this evening I am shaking like a leaf. I was sitting in the second carriage of the train. Out of know where I could feel the train hitting the breaks really hard and the horn sounding really loud. That was followed by a large bang and sort of like a mild bump. Like a bump in the road way. I have never ever experienced that before in my life. The train came to a stop an I could hear people in the first carriage screaming and stuff. So I walked between the doors and at the very front window I could cleary see blood not much. I then new it was a person who had jumped in front of the train at first we taught it was a farm animal or something. The driver came on the intercom and said the train will be delayed as there was an emergency on the tracks. Thats all he said within approximately 10mins there was emergency services that surrounded the hole train. Thankfully no one see the person or anything not that I know of anyway. I just cant believe it I really cant we there for approximately an hour or so. I hope the person found peace but what a horrible way to go it really is. They must have bin so desperate I dont know. I cant even speak or say words about it tbh.. :( :( :(
Sorry for the input of it I just needed to say it. So please people stay away from the trains it fucked almost everyone up in the first carriage.

I can't imagine being so desperate, I did anything that would affect other people like that. I'm not into bringing anyone else down with me.

I have never ever felt something like that as in mentally even though I didn't see anything I new what happened. Me not a chance would I involve the public like that no way. They where so frightened an cleary upset especially in that first carriage

Just in shock an shaking still an it happened 6hrs ago I certainly do not want go that way no chance or even jumping. It scares to many people and it certainly scared that crap outa me

In at least some parts of the UK (Edit: NYC also if I'm not mistaken), conductors now announce suicides that stop the trains, and they explicitly call them suicides over the PA. An anti-ctb measure I'm sure but also a way to keep passenger tempers low. Actually makes sense to me. A) Why leave people in the dark when they can already guess? B) Why give passengers another reason to be pissed off? C) Why pretend it doesn't happen?

He only announced that there was an emergency on the tracks he was probably in shock himself. To even announce anything. But I do agree the passengers should be told why the train cant move especially being on it an hour. I didn't mind being delayed as I new by gut just sensed it. But everyone at the front carraige said it was a person so they must have seen it. Something I'd actaully hate to see
