You might have seen the documentary on Netflix called "Gringo.The dangerous life of John McAfee".
At some point during his escapades in Belize,shortly before he "allegedly" had his neighbour tortured and killed,execution style, he posted to a well known drug discussion forum,where I happened to be a member. He posted photographs of his home,lab and chemistry process.Also elaborate descriptions and bizarre claims of his involvement with local brothels and associates trying to have sex with his dogs (he has 14 of them).I wasn't involved in the thread he created,but some of the people I know were.
He described how he was synthesising a new drug using Research chemicals as a precursor. It's quite complex chemistry if you've no knowledge of it, but the forum chemistry people (chem bods), are incredibly switched on. This drug is intended to cause hypersexuality. If you know a bit about the story,that's quite frightening. He really has an ongoing obsession with weird sex.
Despite there being a commonality of a drug induced psychosis, the forum members are comparatively more streetwise and had him cornered. If you don't know the story,I would suggest you at least watch the documentary if you can. Then if you want to know more,I can point you to some news links.
I'm planning to write an article about it and perhaps present it online. From my investigations, I can't see anyone else having access to my fellow members. They're not exactly the kinda people that talk to journalists. So it could be an interesting opportunity. Obviously I've guaranteed them their anonymity and ensured they're at ease with the whole thing.
Does anyone maybe have any thoughts or ideas on anything I should add?
