This may be true. I don't rule out this option.

If this is true, then someone doesn't know how to create a good simulation.
Maybe it's just early access? It's a pity that we have to test it.

Alternatively, we are part of a sadistic simulation. We live in a bloody playground.
Interesting theory.

Sometimes I think that this universe is someone else's hell, maybe they think I'm crazy, but when this universe came into existence a twin was created with opposite characteristics, in fact where did the antimatter go? Maybe in this sister universe happiness would be something complete.

"We are living in a simulation" is a metaphysical claim that can neither be proven nor disproven. And there is no need to prove or disprove it, because from our point of view nothing changes at all whichever is true. It's like the claim that the universe was created 5 minutes ago with a "built in" history. It's not worth worrying about things like that. Just get on with life. (Or with death if you prefer that.)

ohh i get that a lot, good ol disassociation/derealization. some days i look at meself in the mirror n go "... wait that's me?" or i look at meself in me peripheral vision n it just looks like someone else, very strange feeling. once i got startled by meself! personally, i prefer lookin at me hands rather than me face.
ye can actually do a lot while disassociated! sometimes it makes chores easier, because it fucks with yer time perception and can occasionally give ye an out-of-body feelin, so chores don't feel as tedious :D

I Think The reason everything feels fake to me is that when I was younger I used to feel emotions and experience things like happiness, but now all I feel is numbness, so the lack of sensations both positive and negative has driven me to disassociate from my surrounding making nothing feel real.

And I honestly much prefer this, I enjoy it because It makes me feel better about the every day suffering I experience, like an escape of sorts.

Same, and I feel like it's a coping mechanism for when life is so unbearable it's easier to completely detach and not care. Like I don't even want to "reattach" at this point. Also, in my case at least it's a result of extreme isolation.

Yes, it's our brain protecting us from pain . The more I isolate the more I disassociate to

You may be experiencing derealisation. It's a psychological phenomena like a step below dissociation. It's made it difficult for me to keep track of goals and stuff in long term because I go in and out of this sensation that I'm going to wake up, I'm not influencing reality, etcetera.

It's an experience common to trauma and other things like that with extremes of emotion.

This actually happened to me today šŸ¤£ I didn't realise till I read your post! I woke up and it all hit over again, like everyday, my feelings of anxiety, shame and numerous others, and I just thought no no this isn't real this can't be real, this isn't real life..... I legit got up, played my audio book and decorated for 5 hours šŸ™ƒ it was like an outer body experience, like not being awake during the entire time

I always find myself questioning if any of this is real. Sometimes I feel like all of this might just be some dream I'm having and the real me is lying in some hospital bed somewhere, stuck in a coma.
