Seems I'm doomed.

You know, even with my careful planning and solid execution, I can not keep the argon exit bag on and this has me deeply depressed. When I tested it, I knew the bag was coming off, so I never panicked however now that it's GO Time, I can't keep from taking it off.

** Back Story **I quit my job, cashed in my 401k minus penalties and have spent all but $230. I also maxed every credit card in anticipation of living my last 3 months in Super Star fashion. I've been living in Hotels all over TX and FL and if I can't muster the courage soon, I'll be pennyless and destined for a long painful death.

A healthy will to live is a damn pain!

Hey, I hear you plight, your pain. I'm here for you. I understand the whole SI kicking in and panicking in the most crucial of seconds.

I practiced partial and night night for a long while. I couldn't keep the rope tight unless I was "high" on a mind numbing substance. I've used many combinations of drugs to overcome my SI. It worked too.

I was eventually able to make myself pass out. A couple times. It's such an amazing feeling to know you control your own mortality.

I feel for you. I hope you find the peace your so desperately seeking.

I actually think, that people who have such a strong will, should move away from exit bags and look more into pills. Too bad I am finding this out rather late..

However, I think that as my cancer progresses and pain manifests 10 fold, my SI will be greatly diminished, thus the exit bag will be more inviting.

It's terrible what happened to you. Since you are living in hotels will you be homeless soon if you don't commit suicide? I hope you can find the courage to do what you want to. I'm in a similar boat.I have to get the focus to decide on a method,the discipline to work on it, and get the courage to do my suicide. It's horrible what can happen to people in this thing called life. Give me death any time as death solves all problems.

I'm going to be in the same situation here in a few months. Quit my job, sold my house, sold my car. I've got about 3 months left.

Just know that you can overcome that if necessary. You just have to start over with nothing (or even in the whole). It can be done. There are people out there who will help you.

I wish you a viable way out, whichever way you choose.
