There's been a few members who have taken SN and said their goodbyes on chat... and they haven't been seen since, but it's hard to know for sure I guess.

I attempted using SN, and failed because I was found. Would've been succesful otherwise. You can ask me questions if there's anything you'd like to know.

What did u feel? Was there any pain? Did you take antiemetics and did you throw up? Did you fail only because you were found?

Haha that's a bunch of questions. But I'll try to answer to the best of my ability!
Well what I felt wasn't all that bad - I dissolved 20mg SN in a glass of water and it's probably the most salty thing I've ever tasted. Horrible. Over the next 30 minutes I got progressively more nauseous, although I didn't have a feeling that I was going to vomit. I wouldn't call it too uncomfortable. No pain, no throwing up.

The only reason I failed was because I was found. It was a matter of minutes between me taking the first sips, and my lips and fingers turning blue. Way faster than I expected, and someone saw me by accident. The ambulance was called, and I remember losing consiousness about 30 minutes after drinking it as the ambulance arrived. I was treated by what felt like half the hospital staff and the next day the doctors did say that the dosage would've been lethal. I hate the idea that I was saved, but it's the reality that I've got to live with.

I am sorry that things didn't work out the way you wanted. Did you take antiemitics? And was there during these 30 Minutes fast heart beat and increased breathing?

Haha, I laughed at how many questions, sorry that must be the most frustrating thing to be found and saved are you going to try again or are you happy with life now as you looked death in the eyes and are here to tell the tale.

Great news! Thanks. Do you have any links to the posts?
Can you please try to word things in a more subtle / sensitive way ?
Writing "Great news !" over people catching the bus is highly insensitive....
Yes sorry i deleted it and did not mean it that way...i meant it is good news that it may work for me as well.

I found a news article some weeks ago about a 25 year old guy who took SN. Don't know if he was on this site. Or maybe a lurker. Hard to know.

Oh don't worry about the amount of questions! It's no problem for me to answer them.
To say this whole thing has been frustrating would be an understatement, haha. These have been some of the worst times of my life since it happened. I do intend on attempting again, but I haven't planned anything yet. I've been thinking about simply jumping in front of a train, although when I went to the tracks a couple weeks ago I was absolutely frightened by the idea of jumping in front of such a fast vehicle. I'm a pussy, I know.
Did you take any anti-emetics?
Yeah, some over-the-counter pills against nausea and vomiting.

I did take anti ematics. They were some simple over-the-counter pills against nausea and vomiting. I do remember having an increased heartbeat yes, but I don't remember having increased breathing. Some parts are rather vague.

Sorry life has turned this way for you.

Why wouldn't you want SN a 2nd time? Is it, now you have experienced it, more 'painful' than you thought?

Because jumping for a train seems very brutal, violent and chance of surviving seriously wounded, is higher when compared to SN.

The train method would be very difficult! Anybody would be afraid of that one.

But why? You were almost successful with an admittedly painless method. If CBT is your goal, why think about a train over SN?

I am wondering that as well. I think not getting found is the main concern for a second try.

It's uncertain whether SN is painless based on several conflicting anecdotes

If you search on my name you will see a topic about Lion84. He successfully used SN Friday the 13th. May he rest in peace.

That isn't the point: He admitted it [his experience] was painless. So in his experience why pick a train over another attempt at SN.
