I failed on my past attempt (I mixed 40mg of Ativan and 2 bottles of whiskey) and just got over it easily in a couple of days. My parents did not even realise it was an attempt so that I could try something else.

Now I plan to jump from our rooftop (15 floors), but I have many concerns regarding this method. There have been cases of people surviving more than double that height, and also extended suffering. My two options at the moment are either to check into a psychiatric hospital or try and jump, as firearms aren't accessible in this country (Spain).

Any thoughts?

I'm sorry life led you to this point.
Of course, you should do whatever you see fit. But if you want my advice, - if you're considering a psychiatric hospital, you should go and get checked in.
It might be a good experience, it might be a bad experience, but there's a chance you might find some relief.
Personally, I've been hospitalized twice, and both times I was helped more than I was harmed (though people's experience varies wildly).

If it doesn't work out, the roof will still be there for you.

That's so real. Personally I'm too afraid of the suffering to jump, have you considered SN? It seems to be pretty accessible if you wanted it.
