I suffer from nerve pain and haven't find the cure or the exact meds for me. I was wondering if there is anything I could ask for that could be used for ctb (which would be a tragic accident, obviously...). Of course they are not going to give me morphine, but, since my pain is very high (episodical but still) and I can't take the more common meds (due ver lowblood presure), they try to give me a coombination of meds which doesn't work well (the pain stops when it stops, after a few days, and then, a few days or weeks pain-free and it comes again). Of couse I can't suggest my doctor "hey give me this" but... It would be nice. SO, if something suitable existed , I would try to gei it.

I'm constanty trying to find my method, and things in my life are unbearable right now, so I'm so desperate that I can't stop looking for the perfect method, quick, peaceful and if it could be disguised as natural death or accidental, it would be perfect. Too perfect to be true, I know, otherwise I would have found it already and would have killed myself as I should have done three years ago, when I started to have suicidal thoughts.

I am so sorry I also suffer very bad nerve pain. I expect from nerve damage. The only thing I've been prescribed is amitriptyline which does nothing for me. I wish I could help but I am at loss myself. Nothing seems to work for nerve pain.

Things that helped me in the beginning.. :
Antibiotics. (I have infection which causes nerve damage, so in the beginning abx helped, but than it became antibiotic-resistant)
Immunomodulators
B12 shots
Group B vitamins (apart from B12 shots you need to take those to protect myelin around your axons)
Quercetin
L-Carnitine (Large doses)
Ipidacrinum
thioctic acid

=============
intermittent fasting
strict vegetarian diet

G'day Hel,
Sorry to hear about your level of pain you deal with. Like you my life jhas been ruined by nerve pain, neuropathy as a symptom of POTS.

About a year ago I was looking at backup methods and researching how lethal the medication I was on could be. I've been on Lyrica and Endone for over 6 years just to function at a reasonable level.
Anyway, from the notes with the meds Lyrica which is a standard nerve pain drug can be potentially fatal after taking 8 grams. Found that confirmed on about 4 separate studies.

I was prescribed Neurontin, Cymbalta, Prozac...a bunch of meds. They didn't work for me at all to alleviate my pain. They just made my stomach nauseated and I would vomit them up. I OD'd on Neuontin (gabapentin), back in my early 20's. Someone found me. I almost choked on my vomit, then had my stomach pumped, and I was in the nut-house for a few days.

Now I take all multi-vitamins...Most important for me are the B vitamins and Magnesium.....It's all for nerve support.... Magnesium is very important for muscle and nerve support. I get a chew-able gummy or liquid forms, because now I am unable to break down hard vitamins or powder filled capsules of any type even if I empty the powder into liquid....there is some ingredient/filler in it, that makes me vomit....
