Need some insight on weather or not ctb would be the best option for me

my life has been in shambles for quite a while i have two cats which might be the only reason i haven't attempted again i've been lurking on this sight for a while but only recently made an account what i wanna know is would ctb be the best option for me if my cats would most likely go to a shelter and suffer greatly if i were to die i care deeply about them and they are my family the world is cruel to humans but i would hate make my innocent cats see the world for how it is they live in a fantasy land of love and cheer and attention i don't wanna hurt them.

No one here will encourage you to end your life. We're a support system not a hype group for people to CTB. However i hope you find the answer yourself and that the suffering finds an end for you. Wish you well OP.

I don't know if anyone can answer this. This is really up to you.

If your cats are your pride and joy it might be ok to hold off on ctb. 9 out of 10 times if you successfully ctb they will end up in a shelter.

Or if you are really considering ctb perhaps find them a good home first that you know they will be taken care of.

It sounds like you want to go but your cats are stopping you. Maybe this is a sign that you have something you care about enough to try & live for. Or you can always find them another owner you know will take really good care of them & then ctb. I would take all the advice you're getting but in the end the decision should be up to you, only you can know what would be best for you.

Only you can decide if suicide will be the way that you die, it's a personal decision.

I think this is a deeply personal decision you will have to make on your own. Your cats are very important to you, so that's obviously keeping you here. I hope you can find clarity and peace, whatever you decide.
