Hey, Long time lurker here, I have been trying to attempt this method for a while now, I just cant seem to get over the SI feeling, the only place where i have a strong anchor has a permanent ladder that is attached that i can only step off of. Whenever i try this, my SI kicks in becuase of the pain and causes me to panic and step back on the ladder. I know i can pass out in partial hanging and it doesnt hurt, im just worried that it wont work and it will leave me damaged. I think the only way for it to work is if I pass out first. Here are the 3 methods i have been thinking of
1. stand on the ladder and do a partial hanging until i pass out, then i fall off and am fully suspended, however i am worried i will wake up and panic and SI will kick in.
2. stand on the ladder and make myself pass out using a separate piece of rope to squeeze the sweet spot (so i can have the main rope in the correct position under my chin instead of having it on the sweet spot when i pass out like #1) but i am also worried that I will wake up and SI will kick in.
3. Get electronic/keyboard duster or any other commercially available gas and breathe it until i pass out and fall into the rope. again, i am worried that I will wake up and SI will kick in.
I have also heard of a method where you lean forward and then go back to standing position and you pass out, but cant seem to find any information on it anywhere.
Any thoughts or tips would be greatly appreciated.
