Nature is so beautiful

Today we went on a trip to Gunung Pancur Aji (Eng: Aji Stream Mountain). It was so much fun. The whole view was beautiful. This whole town, Sanggau, is beautiful, but Gunung Pancur Aji was exceptional. The trees are bright orange, the sunshine was bright and golden, illuminating the leaves until they glow yellowish and brightly. It seemed like i was in a fairytale forest.

The whole view was awesome. The leaves, the sunshine, the orange trees, the branches, the waterfalls, the rocks, the hills... Everything was so much cooler in person. I'm glad we went there. Such a cool place needs to be protected against humans!

On the way back home i had to literally walk up a hill though, cuz it's too risky to ride a motorcycle with my friend. My legs are killing me. Totally worth it!

HI I am in the upper Midwest of the U.S., and we are in the deep freeze right now, like you. Today, 01.01.22 the high is -2F. So, I can understand the spring aspect. I cannot wait for warmer weather.

In pain, exists beauty. The beauty doesn't necessarily compensate for the pain, but at least we can still enjoy it while working our way out of this world.

I've always been an optimist. Even in my last moments i'd still want to appreciate the few things that make life okay. For me, nature is one of them (forget the eat or be eaten part and it's okay-ish). So i guess it just depends on your perspective :D

Yeah, nature is amazing. Being close to it I always feel some... spiritual? (can't find right word). I'm agnostic but nature with its beauty and perfection makes me think that meybe there is something more. And I like it :)
