If you ever want to try something different with your green beans, I highly, HIGHLY recommend trying this chraimeh sauce by Ottolenghi: https://www.jamesbeard.org/recipes/tofu-and-haricots-verts-with-chraimeh-sauce

It's basically the only way I eat green beans at this point, because for me, nothing could ever top it.

As for my personal favourite … this is actually really, really hard. Maybe broccolini? Or sweet potato? Enoki mushrooms? Fuck. I live every aspect of my life in pure indecision, unable to commit to anything. Even a favourite vegetable, it seems. But honestly I just wanted to comment with that recipe link, so I'm content.

THANK YOU FOR THE RECIPE, I'll maybe try it when I have the money to buy the ingredients, just read it and it sounds delish!

I can relate to not being able to commit in life, even though it doesn't apply in "name one of your fav vegetable" in this case. I might not understand 100% of your pain but remember that you're not alone and totally valid ^^
Is that... 🥦? If yes then you're definitely an adult lol

I hope you're able to make it one day. Actually, what I really hope is that you're able to make it one day and also that you love it! Since you're an eggplant fan, I love nasu dengaku and moussaka. The latter can be costly but nasu dengaku is so easy and so cheap to make: I highly recommend it if you aren't familiar with it. Sambal is too hot for me!

P.S. Thank you for your compassion. It can be really paralyzing. It sounds so silly to complain about being indecisive but when it impacts every aspect of my life, it's actually quite crippling, in my experience. So thank you for your kindness.

I'm gonna watch some yt videos about that dish lol, I'm really really curious about it.
It depends on what type of chillies you use when you make sambal tbh, there's this long huge red chillies that are not spicy at all and are sweet even, I don't know the name tho, sometimes we use that, and there's this other alternative that looks like an average chillies but it's not spicy at all, sad that I can't recommend what it's called cus even my mom don't know what type of chillies is that lol. But yeah, we usually use that instead of the spicy one cus my mom can't tolerate spicyness that well.

It's not silly at all! But yeah I get where you're coming from, from the perspective of people that are not suffering from that, it can be silly for them, though that's bcs they're ignorant abt it

Bell peppers
I love them too!

I'm not gonna think too much about if tomatoes are fruit or vegetable, my heart tells me it's a vegetable lol
Can't go wrong with onion!

I think so yeah! It can be made into some kind of dessert, have you ever heard of jasuke? I love them!
It's super easy to make, just boil (idk if that's the right term) corn, then shred it with knife (just enough so that the corn and the shell separate) and then add condensed milk with cheese, I don't think it's that healthy tho lol

That's what I thought abt asparagus 😭
It's pretty common in southeast Asian countries to have their own corn field I think. My family myself have a field and they sometimes grow corn themselves, though it's pretty small... I'm sure it have a nice personality tho

Yeah, some of the elements in asparagus get filtered by your kidneys and your pee ends up smelling like asparagus. 😅 Your pee also has a green tint to it if you eat enough (which I usually do).

YES EGGPLANT IS SO GOOD.

Either eggplant salad with peppers where you cook the peppers and eggplant on a grill and add mayonaise to it.

Or

Veggie pot, made with bell peppers, hot peppers, tomatoes, garlic, onion and you simmer them together

brussels sprouts might taste slightly bitter, but they can be really good if prepared properly. they have a soft texture and are fun to eat. celery also has some bitterness, but there are ways to make it taste great. it has a grassy flavor with peppery notes, it can be eaten raw with a dip too.
