I know I asked about bitcoin before (which is preferred), but now I'm being told the value can go down in like minutes after you buy? Should that be of concern? FWIW I would be getting the address ASAP to send the funds off but I'm still nervous.
But Western Union, do they ask a lot of questions and potentially deny you? Transactions on record? I've just never used these things.

Things go up and down on the stock market all the time, including currencies like the dollar and the euro. Just buy a little bit of extra bitcoin if you're worried about that kind of thing.

Yeah prices are changing constantly. Buy a bit more than what you want just to be sure. You can also be lucky and be left with more bitcoins, make a visit to a dnm if so ;)

You said bitcoin is preferred, what are the other methods of payment?

  1. @Meretlein How much extra would make sense?
  2. @drakewantstogo what is a
dnm?
3)@Walilamdzi Western Union or Moneygram, but I'm not sure about a) level of privacy and b) if that matters when sending

If you use a debit or credit card with Coinbase you can transfer your coins immediately after buying them. Transfer them to a private wallet for extra security and then transfer the coins to A from there. This process should be very fast so the price won't change much during that time.
