Help N during daytime

This sounds stupid but my best chances are getting a hotel room during the daytime and ingesting N early in the morning there to not be found for 7-8 hours. Is it different than nighttime in the way that i will be more awake/ fight it off or it'll work the same as at night and knock me out?
