Don't need beta-blockers.

You also don't need an AE technically although it is recommended.

yeah I know @RainAndSadness has a post somewhere showing stats on 20+ cases of successful N attempts without an AE. Two of which threw up and still CTB.

Thank you for sharing this.

I intend to get AE but still good to know it's not essential

Beta blockers (propranolol) is fine to take with N. It can speed time until death up slightly.

I believe MAIDS data shows 10g of secobarbital + 2g of propranolol taking less time until death averagely than just secobarbital. Obviously pentobarbital is what we use but the point still stands. It's not necessary though

@Bed in the post it says "Vomiting was reported in 2 of the 21 cases without metoclopramide, but in spite of this the patient died."
Those without meto what was it? Some other AE or nothing?

And by that I'm thinking if without nothing for so many it was success (even with vomit) , with those with just domp its pretty much very close to guaranteed (u never sure but just saying) ?

yeah that's the post.

The other 40ish cases were with meto i believe. Unlike SN where you're basically guaranteed to throw up, it really doesn't matter it seems if you use an AE unless you have preexisting nausea it's just an extra precaution. mind linking the post again.
