Method N and SN are not the holy grail of CBT!

I saw a post by a member which i think now may be lost. In it he stated that he had acquired both of them. He said that he did a small sample of N and the taste was so revolting that there was no way he would be able to get a bottle down much less keep it down. He also express issues with SN and i cant remember what they were at this point. I wanted to ask him in his option if he had a holy grail or a recommendation. I guess maybe it would be good to get feedback on the subject.

I believe Nembutal is what they use in assisted suicide clinics- and I think people do often drink it there. I imagine they would opt for the most humane method available. I wonder if the Sarco pod will start to take over. Supposedly that's peaceful- inert gas.

When it comes to DIY methods though, I think potentially things can go wrong with any method and the tragedy is- the person is most likely on their own trying to deal with it. People have failed even with Nembutal because they didn't take enough.

I think people's experiences vary widely too. Some people observed taking SN have passed peacefully. Others seem to have experienced discomfort. It probably depends on how that person's biology reacts. Some people experience the same medical procedure differently. I think our pain tolerances and the way our bodies react to things vary widely.

As I understand it- Nembutal is considered the gold standard but- seeing as I've never tried it- I wouldn't know. I think it's incredibly difficult to get hold of too.

Perhaps inert gas if you can afford it? Seems like a pretty solid method for those living in no-fun countries.

I think that SN is popular out of convenience as it's not an illegal chemical, and it's not that hard to get a hold of (for now). If more potent drugs or chemicals were available, I think that SN would be less favoured.

I like it if it were not for putting a mask or bag on your head. The PN capsule looks pretty good.

There are ways to counter the taste of N, if it's that bad. Sort of a mute point now, anyway. SN is popular because it is cheap, highly effective, relatively easy to take, and available(?). Not that inert gas isn't a good way, but there are a lot more costs involved, and even some technical skills. Same for CO. N was about as close as someone could get to a so-called, "Holy Grail". There are no perfect methods, BTW.
