I've been on Klonopin for a few years, 4 times a week, sometimes Eszopiclone, maybe once a week, as well as Gabapentin daily. All of these drugs affect the GABA receptors. I'm worried because drugs that affect GABA receptors can alter N's efficacy. I definitely have a tolerance to all of these medications. I can take 8 mg of Klonopin and just be sleepy, although I usually only take .5-1 mg.
I stopped taking Seroquel because I heard about the effects on N. I can't stop taking the benzodiazepines because I really need them for my symptoms. But do I need to stop? Would this affect this efficacy of N? Are there people who have been on benzodiazepines long-term who have successfully died with 12 g? I'm planning on taking a lot of Klonopin and Eczopiclone beforehand since I'm hoping it'll potentiate the N.
Also, is it safe to take N while someone is in the next room sleeping? Does it cause a 'death rattle' like some other drugs or odd/loud noises? I could go to a hotel too but I think I'd have more time alone if I just pretended to be sleeping and took it at home. But I'm not sure which place would be better. Thoughts?
