Ok, it's September, and that means CTB-O'clock isn't far away for me. I've prepped a regimen for myself and I'd be very grateful for any feedback!

For context, my BMI is around 19. I have no tolerance built to any of the medications (only took 1 test dose each of the benzo and beta blocker). Finally, I'll be doing this in a hotel room that's already booked.

12.30 PMFinish last meal
5:30 PMLast liquid drink
7:15 PM1x0.5 mg clonazepam (sublingual / under the tongue)Mainly to calm myself
7:30 PM1x600mg ibuprofen, 2x40mg propranololI'm kinda unsure about taking 80mg beta blocker before AEs. But idk where else to fit it.

* Taking it w AE would mean too many pills in one go.
* No time slot available between AE and SN
* Taking it w SN (as PPEH says) is an option but I'm skeptical of doing one large dose of BB. Also, taking part of it earlier would confer some anti-anxiety benefit
7:45 PM2x10mg meto, 2x8mg ondansetronWas gonna do the usual 3x meto alone, but Canada's MAiD AE regimen seems safer to me
7:45 PMPrep 2 SN drinks
8:00 PM2x0.5 mg clonazepam (sublingual / under the tongue)Stan's guide says this should be an hour before SN, but since sublingual, this seems ok
8:30 PM20g/50ml SN + 120mg propranolol crushed400 mg beta blocker with zero tolerance is too much IMO, especially bc PPEH itself reduced the dose from 2g to 400mg

A few miscellaneous notes that I'd also like feedback on:
* Planning light carb-focused meals on the last day, so digestion is quicker
* Doing this on a Sunday evening/night, so hopefully there's less medical facilities open if at all there's a rescue attempt
* Gonna be wearing an N95 mask to hopefully muffle groans etc a little. Also will have laptop or phone playing white noise from youtube beside me.
* Doing this in the bathtub with a tarp under me so there's hopefully minimal cleaning needed after the fact

Thank you so much!

EDIT: This is not my goodbye post. It is merely to solicit feedback for my regimen. I will follow up w a goodbye in a week or so!

I'm sorry- I can't comment on your plan as I'm so ill informed (still) about all the different methods. I just can't seem to settle on one...

I just wanted to say that I wish you a peaceful journey. I totally respect your decision but selfishly, I will miss you. I enjoyed our chat about your ice cream shop and my automata museum. If there is an afterlife, I hope every flavour ice cream imaginable is waiting for you.

The mask, bathtub and white noise don't have anything to do with the ctb method itself, in case it was unclear. These are just my "enhancements" to hopefully (a) minimize possibility of rescue and (b) leave lesser mess to cleanup for the hotel. You're right in that I don't need to do these to die.

Thank you for the kind words . The feeling is definitely mutual. This isn't my goodbye post btw, that will come separately.

I don't have anything to add as I'm probably less informed than you are.
I just want to send you my love. ❤️

I'm no expert, but a couple of thoughts. If the bathroom is adjacent to the bathroom in another room, it could end up being a louder place to do it than the main/bedroom, because bathrooms are usually a more resonant / echo-y space. And if you thrash around in a bathtub, that's probably louder than doing it on a bed. A judgement call when you get there, I guess.

And this is just my 2 cents, but I'm not sure why so many people plan to take the actual doses at night, when things are likely quiet around them. I'm planning on doing it in the late morning / midday, when there's more traffic, construction, and other daily noise. And also that way ... most of the fasting just happens when I'm sleeping.

Again, I have no expertise, so please disregard any parts of this. Just offering b/c you asked.

Thanks for the reply. This is good feedback!

Yes, I considered this. It really comes down to a tradeoff between possibility of getting saved and messing up their entire room I guess. I'm planning to ask for a corner room with this in mind (with the excuse that I like to watch TV at night), but it's uncertain. As you rightly said, this can be a call made once I actually get to the room.

Good point, although I doubt there'd be much sleep the night before ctb :)

In my case, I chose the night because there are less medical facilities available here at night, so even if there's a rescue attempt there's less possibility I get saved by docs. Also, ctb at night means there's less time gap between death and housekeeping entry the next day -- basically another way I'm trying to reduce the mess for the hotel, bc decomposition can set in quickly, esp. during daytime. But having said this, your stance makes sense too.

Mask may not be a good idea in case you vomit, a paper/plastic bag might be needed.

Hm, I dont think a N95 is going to be that tight, to cause problems due to vomit. If I'm even a little conscious I can just move it a little down to vomit (remember I'm doing it in a bathtub with tarp under me). Or if I'm unconscious by that point, oh well, I don't care what happens.

BTW, what do you think about my regimen @Euthanza ?

Only thing I see is the mask. If you control of your body you may not be able to move the mask. That means possibly dying from choking on vomit. I would ace the mask.

The regimen is fine, in fact I just know clonazepam is sublingual (reaction in mouth) so it's better than other benzos which reaction is in stomach. You have it all great and set, good luck!
