• Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

I shouldn't be back so early, but I feel as if I have made some discoveries that are beneficial to my efforts. I snuck out of the house yesterday and was able to make it to the train station, it was an hour long walk there and back, but it felt quicker. I was afraid of being attacked due to the homeless population. I made sure to bring a knife with me alongside my phone if anything happened. I was successfully able to make it to the train station and back (I wouldn't be typing this otherwise). I noticed there was a way to pay cash and bills, so that will help.

I plan on going to the nearby forest, however, I'm afraid of getting mauled by the Wolfs, Mountain Lions and Bears, what should I do?

If you are going into bear country, just carry a can or two of bear spray on your bag, so long as the laws in your jurisdiction state that you can do so as long as it is without intent to use it on people, and to only use it when your life is in peril. Just don't brandish the cans in public areas—keep them in your bag until you are in the forest. Watch some bear spray safety videos before purchase.

Don't bring a gun. We don't need any dead, already endangered species of animals. We don't need a firearm sitting around post-mortem for anyone to take and use for malicious purposes.

Would a knife work? I live in a state with mountains on the west, and fields on the east. I state this, because I HAVE to go east...otherwise...I won't find any forests...

If I haven't already stated this before, I will now, there also mountain lions

Absolutely not. The point is to deter large predators and not to injure them—bear spray is good at this.

In case it's not legal, it's not worth the trouble carrying sharp weapons across state lines anyways. Just buy the bear spray.

Bear spray is legal in my state, but like how do I deal with the mountain lions, and the wolfs...I plan on going deep into the forest...so I can hang. I could try to partial hang at home, but the trees and my front and back yard are in obvious sight and could be stopped, and I technically could hang from two areas of the house, the stair area outside and in the basement I live in, I don't the hooks would be good enough and they would probably fall off leaving me with mental injury. I can double check, but I don't think hanging at home will work...

I'm very fortunate to live next to a train station, and that Amtrak still takes cash I think...it makes my hanging possible, but even so...it won't be easy. Also, I'm going to a national park, like a park up in the mountain range, so how should I avoid park rangers? Sorry for asking too many questions..

I'm not an expert, so I can't really answer all of your questions with certainty. A quick Google search would show that, yes, bear spray works on pretty much all large predators, including bears, wolves, and mountain lions.

As for your plans to do it in a national park, don't. You ought to not desecrate wildlife reserves and tourist hotspots just for a nice place to CTB. If you are really going to do it, just do it in some small, unnamed forest well away from the nearest towns. It would be more like to keep you from, say, forest rangers. But there are no guarantees someone won't find you. It is simply a consequence of CTBing away from home.
