For me humans = demons. I got hurt by these malicious creatures over and over and over and over and over and over again. There are no good souls left on this barbarous world, and everyone is just trying to take somehow advantage of an another. How can people ignore this?
They can also be incredibly mean, even though you haven't done a thing to them. Why, oh why are you doing this?!?!? I know they're all demons, but my mind can't let go of this question. Often when I'm posting something to Reddit, people downvote me to hell and reply with obnoxious comments, which often results in me crying.
Sometimes I ask some of my "friends" a question via WhatsApp, and they can'T even take 10 fucking seconds out of their goddamn self-absorbed lifes to answer that question.

Misanthropy will eventually put me in the grave, that's for sure. I simply cannot ignore these maggots that are all around me. Oh how I wish a a gloabl cataclysm, armageddon, a divine punishment would erase every single on of them for all the wickedness they commited, once and for fucking all.

Growing up in an abusive home, I never considered the world was bad. I thought I was bad.

Then again Im fortunate enough to have had some wonderful people intervene in my childhood and try to save me. This gave me evidence that some people are good.

My misanthropy comes partly from having my eyes opened regarding animal agriculture. As soon as I was made aware of how humans treat 'food' animals, I wanted nothing more to do with it. Tens to hundreds of billions of animal lives violently ended because of tastebuds. And the devastating health, social and environmental consequences of the industry. But if you try to speak out and make others aware of it too, you get naught but selfish hostility and cognitive dissonance.

There are many other reasons I dislike my own species, but this one is most emotive to me. I do not turn away from the cruelty and horror I've witnessed and despise everyone that does so. It is cowardice and selfish and wrong. Humans have no right to abuse other species. With our intelligence we know better and can do better, but we choose not to.

I swallow my feelings for the sake of avoiding futile arguments, but the empathy, grief and pain for other species is always there.

Well, gendering things in a sense that assuming everything is related to your biological sex. Nurture plays a huge part of shaping a person's mind.
