My son is ADHD and oppositional defiant, and my daughter is autistic. They can be a nightmare if they want to be. My daughter will fixate on something I did or didn't do, and bring it up several dozen times. My son will do passive aggressive behaviors just to provoke me.
The only thing that keeps me going is my 2 year old. He is also autistic (non verbal), but he is so cuddly and loving. He's the sunshine between the prison bars of the prison life has become. I can't bring myself to leave him. He's like the poster child of "good baby", and keeps me balanced when the other kids are making me want to pull my hair out.
Don't get me wrong I love all 3. The older two just gave me a bad morning.
