• Hey Guest,

An update on the OFCOM situation: As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. OFCOM, the UK’s communications regulator, has singled out our community, demanding compliance with their Online Safety Act despite our minimal UK presence. This is a blatant overreach, and they have been sending letters pressuring us to comply with their censorship agenda.

Our platform is already blocked by many UK ISPs, yet they continue their attempts to stifle free speech. Standing up to this kind of regulatory overreach requires lots of resources to maintain our infrastructure and fight back against these unjust demands. If you value our community and want to support us during this time, we would greatly appreciate any and all donations.

I bought SN online recently to store for later use/peace of mind but somehow, my father discovered it when it arrived and opened the package ( no clue why as he has never done that before in these many years of him being a huge asshole ) and now I do not know what happened to it. I manage to lie my way out of it when both of my parents confronted me about it and I told them I ordered some hair clips from a seller that also sells a bunch of other random stuff like fertilizer/household supplies/curing salt. I'm not sure if it actually worked, or they are just pretending to believe me for the sake of both of our comfort. I have tried to search his room and lo and behold, I can't find it. I'm worried he might have threw it away/sent it back to seller. So, now I am left with nothing. Any advice on how to sneakily get SN or another decent method? I feel quite stuck here and I need some advice from you guys.

Imo if you're young enough for your parents to open your mail without it being illegal, you should try recovery and telling anyone whats wrong. Because if you are in school; you have the most potential for support. Even those you wouldn't think could be support just might be. But that just imo.

Spent almost 5 years on doing just that. Nobody is mature enough to help and my therapist appointments are so far apart and waiting for my next appointment is actually causing more harm to me mentally than not going to therapy at all. I fear for the day that I have to actually stop relying on my parents to get my own place/money. Honestly disappointed at myself for waiting this long to take this seriously because I probably would have suffered less if I did this sooner than later.
