I thought if I drank some salt water I would get used to the taste of SN, haven't drank my SN tho, it hasn't arrived yet. But now my throat feels like an actual desert, I might have fucked up. Tell me is drinking salt water actually helps with getting used to the flavor of SN or I am just stupid as usual

There's no point in drinking salt water. You don't need to do this again.

Alright, maybe I wouldn't drank it if I wasn't this dumb, sorry
don't worry, I've done silly things too... tho keep a filled water bottle and drink a little more than usual, so one's kidneys can flush the excess salt out faster?

eh it is what you make of it like that other person said, I too have tried to rehearse drinking SN by using salt water but couldn't bring myself to do it. Maybe this experience helped you lol

BE VERY CAREFUL DOING THIS. You can actually die from regular table salt but the death takes hours to days and it is unpleasant. Also, salt is an emetic so you can make yourself vomit if you take too much.

I just drank two table spoon of salt dissolved in about 100ml water(?), I didn't really measure my water just enough for a full glass so I'm not sure, I didn't even puke, I just feel drowsy and my throat is sore, do you think I'm still dying a slow and painful death?

don't think so, tho if symptoms become concerning, seek medical advice. You could say you accidentally drank saltwater while rinsing your mouth.

PS: It's ok to go back to regular water consumption now, not too little, not too much ^^

I did this too, with the same amount of table salt as SN I would take. I do think it could help when it comes to what to expect. For instance, I didn't expect it to make my throat burn so much. If I take the SN I might prep some ice water to numb/soothe my throat.

It could also be useful to see how long it takes you to throw up. I took meto and threw up after 4 minutes but later found out that the meto had expired, lmao.

I doubt two tablespoons will cause damage.

If you are still conscious this long afterwards, you are fine. Just the ng to be informative.

I considered this too, so don't feel stupid alone. I actually asked chatgpt at the time about the effects of one teaspoon. Fyi:
