Venting My depression has numbed my other emotions.

So much has been happening around me but I can't really muster up any emotion towards it. I'm so steeped in my own depression and situation I can't really help anyone. I do care for them though at least I think I do. The only thing that has snapped me out of this temporarily has been self harm

yeah, sad to say i feel the same. I can't explain it, but i just feel fake, as if i don't exist. Just a ghost watching the world pass by as i suffer alone.

I was like this for a bit too, depression overwhelming all other emotions, i'm not sure if anything can be done about it, this just went away a bit after removing a source of stress from my life, but not everyone can do that
