My black dog he's always there,
His fetid stench, it fills the air,

Growling, snarling, teeth that bare,
His gnarled claws, his endless stare,

I never ever invited him here,
He just appeared from nowhere,

I've tried and tried to push him away,
He just comes back, he's here to stay,

Many have tried to take him down,
They all gave up, they all left town,

I'm left alone, just me and him,
The future's black, dark, and grim.
