I don't have the courage to stick a knife straight into my neck, I've been thinking about mutilating my whole body and dying slowly, since cutting my wrists didn't work. Is this a reliable method? How soon will I faint and die due to lack of blood?

I've thought about the same thing. From the videos I've seen, if you're looking to mutilate your body and also commit suicide then a train would be the best method. It would be extremely painful but laying your head on the tracks or lying horizontally on the tracks would crush your skull and whole body. They would also have to scrape your corpse off of the tracks itself.Similar threads
