Oh nice, I like rock, but I am also a huge metal head, I have never heard the first song you mentioned, but the name sounded familiar that's why I asked, but I have heard, You Without End, that's a good one. The songs I chose for my wait are not metal, they are Japanese, but they are peaceful but depressing songs, and I dont have peace in my life, but when I listen to those songs they give me a short period of peace, that's one reason why I chose those to listen to in my final hour. I usually listen to them when I am smoking my last cigarette of the night and I'm looking up at the moon, I gives me this feeling of once I depart, that I will be in a post apocalyptic Japanese anime world. Probably sounds ridiculous, but yea, that's my fantasy of when I leave this world, that I would end up in a universe like that after I leave here. I know that's something that is not going to happen, but I like to have the thought that it would, it eases my screwed up mind sometimes. Sorry for telling you this, and thanks for sharing.
Yeah, it's a great song. There's an acoustic version on youtube I think I like better than the original it's just piano & guitar.
