Mum knocking on my door

My parents know I'm not right and ever since I found myself in shit I've been finding it hard to deal with them to the point I decided to cut them off. Now the problem is I don't know what to do.

My mum knocked on my door tonight, I didn't have the latch on but luckily she didn't use the spare key.

I have no idea how to tell her I am going through legal issues and could be facing prison time. I'm too ashamed of myself to tell her. I want to protect her until I CBT

I think you should be open with your mum, but she'll probably want to try to help, maybe that's not what you want

Sadly no. I live in a good area, have amazing friends and had only just got to the point in life where I felt good now I've fucked it all up.

I've always found it hard to open up to people. I'm one of those people who would rather bottle things up and hope it goes away.
Great now my mum is banging on my door continously and just sent me a text saying she's going to call the police.
My neighbour is even trying to call me and we've not spoken in ages...

sounds like an awful situation your in.. if you want to protect your mum you sound like you have feelings for her... do you really think that you ctb would not destroy her? sometimes it's difficult to see a way around something when your stuck in it.. and looking in as I am I think you could maybe try and open the door and talk? I think she'd rather you in prison than 6ft under...
