• Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

Excluding suicide attempts. For me, moving solo 1,000 miles from home (I moved back. meh). I know that's boring but it was most out of character for me, traveling alone is scary. I've been feeling on the fence about suicide lately. Bored out of my skull. I've been fantasizing about falling in love with someone online who lives far, far away and I move to be with him and help do work on his farm, or something. And live happily ever after  But I have trust issues more than ever, so.

Overall my life was not full of adventures, but there was a day when I called a friend to bike for over 100km without any preparation

I haven't had chances to do anything too spontaneous, probably recent one was when I started chatting with this one girl online, we started liking each other, she had a kid and there was a possibility of me becoming a step-father (I don't know anything about raising children). She lived about 200km away from me, so I took a train and went to meet her. We had our fun until we ended things, since it didn't work out. Probably better this way, I would imagine it's better to live without a father than have a know-it-nothing step-father.

Hmm spontaneity is acting on impulse, not waiting on chance. An impulsive fun-loving acquaintance or friend could be influential.

I'm sorry it didn't work out with you and your friend. I commend you for not rushing in though, I'd never date someone with a non-adult child/ren. I am a child!

Well... it was foggy
It actually took the entire day to reach the place and then get back home, the distance is ok but the major problem is the mountainous terrain, as I said we were not prepared, and that includes physical preparation

funny thing, I did that too, except my ride was solo. Did few more of these increasing the mileage and once even slept in a forest in a tent (the distances got pretty big).
Second wildest for me is probably participating in my university dance-battle, there were like 200+ people watching us perform (I did not do great, but had fun regardless, bunch of girls gave me compliments for my outfit lol).

I just love how that place in the picture has the same feel, as a train station near-by me, despite us being so far away (possibly separated by water too, if you are from UK)

I think the most radical thing I've done was becoming an immigrant. I moved country alone when I was 24 years old.

Driving 9 and a half hours to San Diego with one of my best buds in the summer of July 2016 just to attend the 25th anniversary Sonic event. Turned out to be a great idea to be there in person because the livestream of that event was apparently awful while being there in person was way cooler. They served chili dogs and onion rings plus I got to meet the vocalist of Crush 40.

Looking back, it's crazy we even did this with barely any planning. We booked the cheapest possible hotel we could find then last minute decided I would drive us there instead of getting a flight, because I was the only one who could drive and neither of us knew how to book flights.

Going 40 days and 40 nights on water only (no food or supplements) is probably up there for me.

I also lived as a hermit for 9 years, miles away from the nearest neighbour. During that period went years sometimes without saying a word to anyone and had to relearn how to verbally communicate more than once.

Not massively exciting but, I did a second degree in my late 20's, early 30's. A pretty risky investment seeing as our darling government had just hiked up tuition fees by £1000's. It turned out to be worth it though- kind of. It set me on a better course anyhow.

I've also moved quite a few times for jobs. 100's of miles, entire house moves. I'd hate to do it again though. So much upheaval. Plus, being freelance in a creative industry is kind of radical/ bordering insane I'd say.

Not as radical/ exciting as something life threatening I guess but, given my fairly timid character- kind of surprising. Friends have remarked that I'm shy and nervous in some ways but, brave (maybe reckless) in others.

Becoming a starseed and going deep down that rabbit hole and becoming a Keylontic Science practitioner. All that is gone now though. I just view it as psychosis and pseudoscience.

Moving 800km away from my parents when I was 15 is probably the most radical.

Doing edibles and then thinking online gambling would be a good idea. Don't plan on doing the latter ever again though. Not super exciting, but my life is pretty much groundhog day over and over again so doing something like that was one of the most radical things I've done this decade.

Losing 35 kilogram within 1 year and following going one decade without eating sweets no chocolate, no chips, no soft drinks. I think I did it 11 years but my mental issues made me lose weight and gave me stomach sickness. I had to start eating unhealthy again in order not to lose more weight. Today I ate a lot sweet chili chips and they were so tasty. I am still very thin though. A friend says it looks unhealthy.

Trying to live like the average person and acting like I am a part of humanity and not just a worthless failed example of a human being, which I did so many years, feels utterly radical to me. It feels soul-crushing, mind-destroying and made me cry in agony and wail tears of despair so many nights cause with each attempt I realized more and more that my brain/soul/whatever is fundamentally lacking something that everyone else seemed to have.

Done plenty of crazy things in my life, but the most extreme had to be living in an abandoned and dilapidated trailer park set back in the woods in a very rural small town for 9 months. First two weeks were terrifying as I had to adjust to the situation, but as time went on, got way more used to it.

Walked 7 miles (3 towns, 4 hours) just to hangout but I would totally do it again. I remembered the street names and used google map view, and I did it over and over in my head until I remembered. I was feeling very upset at the time and wanted some independence and also woke up that day upset that the days were the same, I wanted to do something different, so I did, and I was told I couldn't, but I did it. Still proud of myself.

Got drunk one night and took my e bike late at night to ride in this forest and a wild boar almost killed me. I did this like 10 times after that. Didn't see the boar again :pfff:
