Trying to hear other's input so i can avoid certain methods.
Id imagine stabbing your throat sucks.

I've been contemplating between handgun, Carbon monoxide or sodium nitrite poisoning. I'm trying to find a balance between lethality and painlessness. Every method seems to have its pros and cons and it's the failure of not succeeding is what scares me. I don't want to end up in a lifetime of pain or as a vegetable.

Yes fire rates a 95 out of a 100 on the agony scale. Definitely not the way to CTB.

Stabbing your throat would definitely suck. I saw a guy in the media that stabbed himself in the throat multiple times and he survived. He had to have emergency surgery. But he survived.

Can I ask? Is there a certain way you're curious about? Do you want it to be painless? Quick? Do you need a way to do it in a house with people/parents and not be found in time to save you? Do you have a budget of any sort? Etc.

I, and many of us here are quite knowledgeable about many methods. I know poisons well and I'm familiar with partial and night night. Some of us here are more familiar with other methods. Just let me/Us know and we'll help the best we can.

I hate that site because OD is all lumped together and you're supposed to move on thinking it's impossible to ctb reliably.

They also don't distinguish between short drop hanging (takes minutes to die), long drop (instant loss of consciousness), and decap drop (instant decapitation).

When I was considering hanging, I planned for at least an 11 foot drop (will decapitate) with a 1 inch 850lb load ratchet strap. No pain, no suffering, instant permanent death.

Decapitation is not instant death, you'll be alive for 10-15 seconds.

Burning to death, drowning and probably choking on something, anything actually that keeps your heart pumping blood to your perfectly conscious brain in the procces.

Yeah I tried it but only the first two links under the mega thread methods work. From carbon monoxide down the links don't work.

Decapitation is not instant death, you'll be alive for 10-15 seconds.

I did a bit of research and discovered you are correct. Found some interesting stories about it, like one person who was slapped on the cheek after decapitation, their face showed an expression of disgust and indignation at the offense!

I asked because i dont mind pain unless its unbearable (i.e burning, seppuku) because i want to relax when i die.
And i dont want to scream when i die for obvious reasons.

I wish I had access to a 12 gauge shotgun and 00 buckshot. Aimed correctly, that is the fastest, most painless, and most reliable method I know of.

And I emphasize "aimed correctly", as anatomical research would be necessary for me to ensure I would be delivering the buckshot to the correct area of the brain. But once I had I that down, man, I would be totally at ease and have no fear of anything going wrong.

12 gauge with 00 buckshot - the Cadillac of methods LOL!

Oh those links. I haven't tried them personally. I just Google things I want to know and I read all the books I can that are suicide friendly. That helps. Plus I follow threads that people write about certain methods and I try to learn from others experiences and advice.

-Shooting yourself in the head but instead accidentally shooting yourself in the shoulder
-10000 BEES (Unless your allergic)
-Slowly climbing into lava like a hot tub
-Toaster! In the bathtub!!
-Literally any trap from a Saw movie
-Eaten alive
-Drinking potent acid
- I actually considered buying a thin metal wire and attaching it to two cars about to drive apart, with a loop around my neck. Car drives and shwooop quick clean cut. Little complex for me tho.
-Or the most painful method of CTB, sufferring for 20, 30, 50, maybe more years in excruciating pain waiting for old age!
