This happened in my town a couple of years ago.

There was a rich lad, living with his family. For standards in our country, there were ultra rich. Successful lad, good wife, nice kids and all. He ran some businesses and made a pretty good buck.

It all changed one day when he made a deal with some big German corporation or something, where they screwed him over a major part of his wealth.
He was devastated. Even though he was still rich and had lots of money, this was a huge blow to his pride. He couldn't look his family in the eyes anymore.

He tied a noose and while hanging, he pulled out a gun and shot himself. He was successful in that attempt.

I also remember a lady's liveleak autopsy x-ray showing where she shot herself in the heart but it was small caliber so she had to keep shooting four times. Nice grouping. She was locked from inside so she definitely did it to herself.

I love the ones who look like they have wonderful lives, but they just decide, "it's time".
And that is that, no ifs, ands or buts. They are done
Such resolve. I envy it.
It's easy to see why someone would ctb if life sucks, but when their lives are great, I'm always in awe of their determination.

Also a film of a guy on a bridge, not very high, the fall probably wouldn't have killed him. When EMS was called he waited for the fire truck to come speeding up, and before it stopped he dropped in front of it. Killed on impact. Creative, effective evasive tactic.

In my country, a student ctbed in his room using plastic bag and gloves+socks on his hands as restraints. It was so weird that some people thought it was a murder, not a suicide. However, method does not seem impossible with use of strong sedatives.

A year ago or something I was in a ctb discord server. There was this guy who was alcoholic on the server. He ended up many times in the hospital because of drinking. And he always got send home afterwards, no one helped him. He ordered sn one day, then he was drunk one day ended up in the hospital again. He told the nurse by accident that he had sn. And the bomb squad came to his house.. apparently you came make bombs of sn. He didn't got charged or fined by police he just had to hand over sn. Then he orded it again and he successfully ctb'd sadly

Maybe not most bizzare, his method was a common one. It's also sad how the nurse always send him home after he ended up in the hospital for drinking, without helping him or whatever.

Not soooo bizarre but have been a few "mall jumpers" lately in Thailand as well. Have always been a large number of expat condo jumpers in Bangkok and Pattaya but the mall thing is kind of ripe.
(Some may have fallen, been pushed or killed.)

Yes, I'm aware however costs are prohibitively high for non-citizens,...especially those who are notoriously poor at budgeting.... :(

Theyre paid for saving it. Not helping it. Business as usual for them honestly.

I worry so much about a failed attempt again that I would do something violent to myself if I knew with 100% certainty that it would work. Well … I say that but am so afraid of heights that I cannot bring myself to jump off a building. God I wish I could … it's fast and probably painless.

This didnt happen as far as I know, but somewhere I've seen a suicide method detailing how males could CTB by cutting the vein or artery on their penis. I wonder how that would turn out.

I don't remember, but my guess is that it probably wouldn't matter, except for it being easier to cut on an erect one. I wouldn't recommend this method though lol

Yes, cutting has low success rate, unless you cut really deep and hit the right spots which takes a lot of willpower, and even then it's not guaranteed.
