Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

Some people think that being rich solves most - if not all - of life's problems. What is your view on this? Do you really think that your life's problems can be solved by the right amount of money? If you were rich, would you abstain from attempting suicide?

None of my problems are because of money. I am barely low middle class. But if all of my other problems were somehow fixable, my life would be great, I personally wouldn't care about money.

I believe that being rich solves most – but not all problems.
That being said, for me personally, it wouldn't change much. And I think for the majority of users here, neither.
What I see here on this site is a struggle with belonging somewhere – which is what I am experiencing, too. In these cases, no amount of money could help.
However, there are cases where people lose everything and find themselves in deep financial distress – in that case, of course, money would help.
Or, if you have a dream for your life and some motivation but just not the means to pursue it because you're born poor, then again, money would help.

No, unless the money was used to buy some peaceful suicide method. Only death can solve the true problem for me which is life in itself, I could never have any interest in having to exist, this futile process where we are destined to decay from age could never be worth it for me. I don't see anything to be gained by existing, it's completely unnecessary and money cannot take away the fact that there is no relief from suffering in this world. The thought of permanent non existence is completely ideal to me, I don't wish to experience anything at all.
Yes, I would abstain because I'd have enough money to either a) check myself into a psychiatric ward of my own choice voluntarily and utilise my money to pay for an evaluation as well as my choice of therapy or b) buy a decent variety of drugs such as ketamine or cocaine or psychedelics that allows me to pretend I'm functioning. Wealthy people who suffer with suicidality are able to rehabilitate themselves with the help of private mental health resources or be on 1-1 watch of a nurse; they do not have to worry about access to a psychiatrist or job prospects being lost due to mental illness or not getting into college because their families have enough money to pay their way into these opportunities.

It would solve a lot of the stress I feel around my families and personal finances. But it won't fix all the problems I have, sadly i doesn't take away trauma.

Money won't buy me happiness although I'll delay my passing by a fair bit. I'll hopefully help anyone who genuinely cares about me financially for the rest of their life. I may also just spend all of it before I pass - go out with a bang.
My problems didn't used to be about money. I've overcome everything in my life except for my lack of education and work experience. My parents never put me in school. I have never had an official job so there's nothing for me to say to potential employers. I spent my teenage years and my early 20s drinking a lot, never worrying about the future. Now that I'm getting older I realize how fucked I truly am. I was fucked from the start. I've been trying so hard, but I never make it past the interview because I don't have any experience or education and I'm a nervous person. It's very obvious. I plan to CTB if I don't have a job by December. I can't live off of other people anymore.

Quite not, money do solve a lot of problems, but the feeling you get about suicide will never 100% leave you, it will creep on your head until you can't take it no more.

Yes… Lack of money prevents me from living the life that I want to… Fear around money, ruined my life from an early age and made me anxious and even literally hungry at times.

It does not solve all problems, but having money can enable you to participate in hobbies and get you to travel to distract you from them for a period of time.
Yeah, money has and would help me. I'd likely still have ideation but it would make it easier to hang on until the point where money wouldn't work anymore. Ie. illness struck. There's no way I'm putting up with illness on top of how hard life itself is!
Money isn't related to any problems I have. It might make me happy for a brief amount of time but the desire to CTB will inevitably creep back into my head. Death is the only way I can escape this horrible existence, not money. Money can't take away the fact of how cruel this world is. Instead of being rich, nonexistence sounds ideal to me.
