hi, so the main thing stopping me from ctb atm is fear of being left with brain damage. i have heard some people say that with sodium nitrite, if you fail you won't be left with severe brain damage, however this doesn't fully make sense to me as it's my understanding that the MOA of SN is starving the brain and organs of oxygen.

so ig i have 2 questions, the first being, will a failed SN attempt likely leave you permanently fucked up, and 2, are there any methods where a failed attempt wouldn't have a high chance of leaving you permanently fucked up? or is that just part of the deal of trying to ctb?

With almost any method there is some risk that if it fails or if you are rescued at the wrongt tim ethis could happen. Most people who have posted here after a failed sn attempt said they recovered in a few days, though one person posted recently that they think they have some brain and/or organ damage. The best thing for any method is to plan a high percentage method carefully so that hopefully your first attempt succeeds.

personal opinion, "they think" is a whole lot better than they do. basically at least they can still think and type vs being in a wheelchair completely handicapped by an attempt

Yes, but they are having problems with daily tasks, with their vision, some pretyy serious issues. This person did say they took less than the recommended dose, it sounds like they were experimenting, which is not a good decision- either go all in on an attempt or don't do it at all. I did ask how much sn they took but they didn't respond to this.
