I want to wish everyone a Very Merry Christmas. I know that not everyone here, myself included, have the Christmas that they would want, or even need. The one hope that I wish for all of us is that we can find peace in our hearts, as well as, peace in our minds. For those of us not having the Christmas that we deserve, I hope past memories of better times at Christmas can bring us some solace and comfort from any sadness and desolation that often accompanies this time of year.

I doubt that such a thing as peace even exists in this life, I mean it could never do in a world filled with endless cruelty and suffering. But christmas is just commercialised forced optimism which for some reason people get so obsessed with, anything associated with it is irritating to me. Christmas is just an excuse for people to glorify something so useless and horrific as life and disregard the harsh reality of this existence. But for me the only thing that could ever be close to a comfort is the fact that no matter what I will be dead someday.
