• Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

I recently was hospitalized for an evening a couple weeks ago but I was able to get released by blaming it on alcohol now I have MHP spam calling me for a "check up" and deadnaming me. Its gotten to the point where I wake up with a new voice mail every night and it's starting to get on my nerves.

If I continue to not answer could they come to my house or worse? That is my only fear right now because I have no intentions of ever picking up the phone. I don't want to risk contact because someone could alert them to my supplies then its all over.

If it was alcohol it'd make sense for you to pick up and say that you're going sober for a while to cool off. Assuming you don't pick up, you could just block them and if police shows up (not sure if they can), tell them it's just alcohol and fucking insulting that they think a bit of drinking means you're insane (this is the supposed justification for blocking them). Though hide the supplies, if they manage to somehow legally search your house without permission that'd get awkward fast.
I'm not familiar with the situation so idk :(

Personally, I agree with @Alpenglow - I think it's better to get the call with them over and done with and do your best to assure them that you're ok now. At the moment, you're still an open file. They'll no doubt continue to call until they can close it.

I had to get in touch with them following the IC SN welfare check. It was very unpleasant. 2 calls. First, a pretty kind sounding lady actually but I made it clear I didn't want their help. The second was by a far more unpleasant supervisor I'm guessing. But- they stopped (thankfully) after that.

The issue is I have selective mutism and MHP find it prudent to make fun of me for it often and say nasty things to me but I suppose its better than constant spam calls and possible police welfare checks.

Is there another way to contact them? Email, text? Could you let them know your situation. Insist that you are ok but find ot distressing to talk to people?

Could you download an "auto calling app" for your phone, record some convoluted message to them, and then program the app to frequently make "spam" calls to them? One good turn deserves another.
