  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

A suicide alternative if you will. I'm stuck here for another 10-20 years before I can ctb. I think other people in here are in a similar situation. How to make time go by faster? Obviously wallowing in bed about my sorrows isn't going to do it, but lately it seems like the only thing I'm capable of doing...

I've read that going out and doing lots of activities helps, but I think time moves roughly the same either way. I feel like this year is dragging on and on and is impossibly slow.

Personally what I do is try to sleep as much as possible as sleep is a way to skip more of life. Less of life to experience if you are unconscious more of the time.

Time flies by if you are having fun.
If, however, you are suicidaly depressed, that might not be easy, or posible.
So if for whatever reason you cannot die, then yeah you can rot forever which is not much living or fast, or I'd try to work on gaining back the ability to enjoy those things.
There is little way to make decades go faster like that, if you can't go, might as well try and make the best of it and get the help you require to do so.
going out and doing lots of things helps to fish you out of there, if you can, sure go for it <3

I do that too, but I can't imagine sleeping for 10-20 years being that worth it. At some point I'm eating the pillow or smth

This was my go to but lately I've been having trouble sleeping! I've lost even that. I'm wondering if doing lots and lots of exercise while I'm awake would help a bit.

They say it does. Or at least I know there are countless studies linking exercise to better wellbeing and mental health. So yeah if you feel a call for it do some exercise.
Just don't think of it as the one cure all. that's probably a lot more complex and depends on your situation. sleeping is important too. do i sound like a doctor? i think i do. don't throw me apples.

I do really understand as I'm also trapped in this tortuous, futile existence and I find it so painful how I cannot just choose to fall asleep permanently, I just want to not exist and I suffer just from being conscious in this existence I never would had chose and it feels like I've suffered for so long, to me existing really is just waiting to die, it's just suffering all for the sake of it.

I share your sentiments, but since we're stuck here until we can ctb (or just die) I figure it would help to look into ways to speed it up. I just don't know what/how.
